Performance Features of 3M™ VHB™ Tape GPL-060GF (English)
· Basic Specs: Gray, 0.6 mm (25 mil) thick double-sided acrylic foam tape with a closed-cell, conformable acrylic foam core and red PE film liner.
· High Initial Tack & Low-Temp Application:
o Exceptional initial adhesion — bonds quickly on contact for immediate handling strength.
o Applicable at low temperatures (down to 0°C / 32°F), enabling installation in cold conditions.
· Bond Strength & Durability:
o 90° peel adhesion (stainless steel): 25 N/cm (14 lb/in) (ASTM D3330, 72h @ 23°C).
o Provides permanent, high-strength bonding and long-term durability.
· Temperature Resistance:
o Long-term: 85°C (185°F)
o Short-term: 110°C (230°F)
o Note: Lower temp resistance vs. GPH series (not designed for powder-coat bake cycles).
· Substrate Compatibility:
o Bonds reliably to metals (steel, aluminum), glass, ABS, PC, and most medium/high surface-energy plastics & coatings.
